Children in year 1 have been invited to take part in a free and exciting Sparx Club running at their school this term. The club is being run by the South Leicestershire School Sports Partnership.
The clubs combine sports and health based activities. The children will play fun physical games designed teach them about nutrition, mental health and exercise. The clubs use primary Change 4 Life Sports Club resources and the lessons grouped into five themes - Adventure, Creative, Target, Flight and Combat.
The club will be led by a coach employed by the South Leicestershire School Sports Partnership. The coach will deliver an hour of physical activity each week for 10 weeks.
