Information for New Starters - Autumn Term 2025

We enjoyed welcoming families to our Open Events on 29th and 30th October 2024.

If you were unable to join us on this day, please do contact the School Office (0116 259 6327) to arrange a tour of the school to view our facilities and meet the staff.

Helpful dates to note:   

15th January 2025 - Final day to apply for Primary School places for September 2025

16th April 2025 - Primary School places are released to parents

18th June 2025 - Presentation to New Parents at 6pm - we invite you to attend ‘An Introduction to Your Child Starting School’ presentation in our school hall, which will provide you with an insight to all the things you                                          will need to know in order for your child to start school successfully from their first day.  The presentation will explain the phased intake for your child’s first term in school and a timetable will be                                                                                provided to support the successful transition into school.  

W/c 23rd June 2025 - Home Visits by EYFS Staff - support for transition and a chance to get to know your child

3rd July 2025 - Stay and Play session - As part of the induction process at our school we offer a session for the children to explore their new environment with a parent. Parents are required to stay please but                                                          unfortunately we are unable to accommodate younger siblings.
