Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to our wonderful and friendly Church of England Primary School, providing exemplary education for children aged 4 to 11 years old.

Our school is a caring community of children, parents, staff and governors.  Together we continually strive to provide a happy and supportive environment in which the unique potential in every child is realised. We are ambitious for our pupils and our aim is for each child to become a confident, enthusiastic and independent learner, achieving their best. We are committed to working in partnership with parents and carers to this aim and we are very proud of our school and our children.

.We are proud to have achieved a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in November 2017.

Pupils and parents speak warmly about the school. Pupils with whom I spoke described the school as ‘brilliant’, ‘homely’ and ‘friendly’. They described their learning as ‘fun’. Pupils spoke with pride about their achievements and the opportunities that the school provides for them.” – Ofsted 2017

Within the context of Christian belief and practice, our school has developed a set of core values which will continue to underpin all the work we do. We greatly value our strong links with the Church and Chair of Governors, Carole Ratcliffe, who helps to organise such weekly activities as ‘Open the book’, ‘Worship workshop’ and Collective worships.

Our website will provide you with all the important information about our school, but we would be happy to provide you with any extra details you require.  We are happy to offer you a tour around the school and we also have the ability to meet with you virtually, if it is more convenient.

I look forward to meeting you.

Mrs Lisa Willcocks, Headteacher
